THE BAND:

Jersey's own Countrified Roots Rockers "Michael Patrick & The Suburban Hillbillies" are on a mission to bring country rock music back to the state and offer fans a place to call home at their local area shows. Carefully blending elements of traditional country, 50's style rockabilly, folk & roots rock with a "jam-band rockin' edge," this group has devised a style that appeals to folks of all ages.

The band has been "out and about" in support of their recently released independent debut CD offering entitled "Roots & Branches."

Less than a year young, the band shows a promising future. 

If fan attendance is any sign of things to come, than these guys are right on track and on to something with their Hickory brew.

Michael Patrick & The Suburban Hillbillies continue to play to packed houses and recently sold old their CD Release party on 11/13/04 at Indigo Coffeehouse (Aberdeen, NJ).

Members of the group have opened for or appeared with the following notable national acts: Marshall Tucker Band, Hot Tuna, Jefferson Starship, Spin Doctors, Tom Constanten (Grateful Dead) and Moot Davis (featuring Pete Anderson of Dwight Yokum Band).

Their music influences are varied and diverse but include the likes of: The Nitty Gritty Dirt Band, Johnny Cash, Lyle Lovett, John Prine & Jimmy Buffett.
